My name is Sam Findlay. I love many things in life but what I love most is the culinary delights the world has to offer. Here I am pictured enjoying a pint of Guinness. I love nothing more than to share a meal with family and friends, and love travelling to find memorable cafes, bakeries, bars and restaurants.

So, Pronto Guide is for just that. A digital space for my recommendations and city guides with places to eat and drink. Each venue listed I have personally been to and have enjoyed. I wouldn’t recommend somewhere I didn’t like.

Food photography is also a passion of mine. Every photo used on this website has been shot by me (except for the photo used here, which was taken by my wife Maddi). Reach out if you would like to buy any photos found on the site as a print.
