Bali 〰️ Indonesia 〰️

Bali has seen an amazing rise over the past 10 years or so is the food scene. This is probably why so many food-obsessed travellers flock there each year, in addition to the other obvious reasons, including the country’s amazing landscapes, nature and culture. Canggu in particular has enough spots to keep you busy on the food front, and here are some of our favourites.

Cafes

ST. ALI

St. ALI helped pave the way for specialty coffee in Australia and now find itself with a location in Bali, offering all the usual brunch favourites you would find in Melbourne.

ACME

A must-visit bakery which features a relaxed warehouse-style fit-out.

BAKED.

You can find a number of BAKED. locations in Bali, and they all do as their name suggests, providing baked goods, but also do a brilliant brunch. Their scrambled eggs with brown butter, crème fraiche and roe is a must.

Dulu Coffee

If there is one spot in Bali that does specialty coffee the best, it’s definitely Dulu Coffee. A relaxing spot to chill and sip on a brew.

A popular brunch location for good reason, featuring an affordable set menu that allows for you to pick and choose just how you want your breakfast plate to be.

Revolver

A Bali cafe institution that has stood the test of time and helped set the coffee scene in Bali what it is today.

Deli

Sandwich shops are the craze as of late and Deli fully leans in with a menu that will have you wanting to try all they offer.

Resturants and Bars

Ulekan

A great spot for traditional Balanises food. The skewers cooked over coals are exceptional as is most of their menu.

Numero Quattro

Italian food in a relaxed setting, especially if you can manage to get a booking on the rooftop. The Foccacia sets the scene and the pastas that follow seal the deal for pasta to add to your list.

Longtime

Modern Asian with a Balinese twist and a menu to reflect such, including their beef rendang spring rolls as an entree. Get these!

Barō Pizzeria

Barō and their staff are really passionate about pizza, and you can see it on show when dining in. Thin and crispy bases and a range of classic toppings.
